The best special needs and lifetime care
planning you can get for the special people
who need it the most
There’s plenty of advice – but finding the right advice and plan is what’s important
ArcherCare provides expert help and advice from the perspective of years of experience in the special needs field. We know what works and what doesn’t. We can point you in the right direction, develop a detailed care plan, even oversee and coordinate a care plan. We do this with the sensitivity and depth of expertise required to help ensure a successful life for the special needs person you want to help.
ArcherCare provides help for parents and other family members, attorneys, the medical community, trust companies, residential communities, and employers. We bring together experts in the legal, medical, financial, governmental, vocational, educational, and social work fields to assure that your loved one with a disability is able to live the highest quality life possible. We can help you to coordinate and gain access to appropriate services, and we can assist in developing a life plan that will assure the same level of care for the future.
Services

Benefits Assistance – Our Benefits Specialists have years of experience in public benefits programs such as Social Security (including SSI), Medicaid, Medicaid Waiver Programs (such as CLASS, HCS, MDCP), Medicare, Railroad Retirement and Veteran’s Benefits. We can advise you on what services you or your loved one should be receiving and assist you in applying for benefits.
Disability Assessment – Our teams can assess overall social, physical and financial health to provide a basis for determining what services may best meet your loved one’s needs, the programs for which he or she may be eligible, and whether a guardianship may be appropriate.
Trust Advisory Services – Our experts can evaluate the appropriateness of trust disbursements and assure that public benefits will not be jeopardized. We can advise on the various funding sources that may be available in order to best preserve trust assets.
Community Resources – Our experts can help you decide which living situation is best suited for your special needs loved one, whether that means accessing all the necessary support services available so that your child can stay in your family home, or selecting the best residential placement. |
|
Care Management – Our Care Managers can monitor the care your loved one is receiving. If distance or limited ability to travel is a constraint or if you just would like a second opinion, we can visit your loved one regularly, objectively assess the quality of care, maintain dialogue with caregivers, and report to you regularly and thoroughly.
Guardianship Services – Many parents who are guardians for their adult child with a disability have no one to take over that responsibility once they are no longer able to do so. Our Private Professional Guardians can assure such parents that their adult children will receive the best of care, and will have a constant advocate to protect their child’s rights.
Financial and Tax Planning – How much is enough to assure that your special needs loved one will have the same quality of life once you are gone? What are the income tax implications of government benefits, special needs trusts disbursements, or claiming dependents on tax returns? We can provide the answers to your financial questions.
